After completing my master’s degree, I worked as a lecturer of physiotherapy at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi and maintained a private practice for three years in India. Upon relocating to the UK at the end of 2006, I spent 12 years working with community and intermediate care teams in Plymouth and Ivybridge. Subsequently, I transitioned to an extended role with the Long-term Conditions Team in Plymouth. Since then, I have continued to work in extended roles and currently work as an advanced clinical practitioner in primary care, in addition to my teaching role at MarjonUniversity.
The physiotherapy profession provides a robust foundation to expand our boundaries into the advanced clinical and academic roles. I believe that this versatility will empower our students to aspire to and achieve professional excellence in various specialised fields.
