Andreas Walmsley

Role Summary

Andreas is one of the core teaching team at MarjonBusiness and is highly experienced in the design and delivery of teaching business at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels having worked at five different UK higher education institutions, and been involved in external examining/programme validations internationally (Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Singapore, Vietnam and Nepal). Teaching and academic administration/management aside, Andreas is an active researcher, recognised nationally and internationally for his contributions in the areas of entrepreneurship education and responsible/sustainable employment, especially in the service sector. He is Editor (Research) for the United States Association for Business and Entrepreneurship's journal  is a Research Fellow at Neapolis University Cyprus and Convenor of the SCION Research Group. Andreas is an experienced PhD supervisor and welcomes expressions of interest in topics around entrepreneurship, particularly entrepreneurship education, and also if there are links to sustainability/responsible business practices.

Teaching

Andreas teaches in a range of business areas (entrepreneurship and innovation, finance, marketing) where he is able to demonstrate to students the interconnections between these different business functions.
